Spawned from the minds of Brenton Harris and Mike Speakman is an inspirational/entertainment podcast, RADULTS.The podcast showcases people who have said “fuck that” to the idea that growing up and becoming an adult meant giving up on their dreams. Guests include musicians, authors, comic creators, tattooists, artists, screenwriters just to name a few. These guests maintain the passion of their youth, while surviving as an adult (some even have kids and houses, even a mortgage!).

Join Radults host Brenton as he has a chat with the very rad Jordan Dreyer, vocalist of Michigan post-hardcore superstars La Dispute, ahead of their 15 date Australian tour in September.

Over the past decade La Dispute has been responsible for some of the most uncompromising, experimental music and have carved a reputation as one of post-hardcore’s most singular voices. As the literal voice of La Dispute, and the man behind the bands unique and in-depth lyrical approach, Jordan plays a massive part in the soundscape, identity and performance of La Dispute.

A man responsible for penning lyrics that are inked into thousands of bodies worldwide, Jordan is refreshingly aware of the responsibility that being in a position of such visibility comes with and he and the rest of La Dispute work tirelessly with charitable organisations and show organizers to ensure that La Dispute shows are a safe environment, that also offer an opportunity to give back to the community that have given so much to them.

An absolute Radult, Jordan spends 20 mins of a rare day off discussing the bands rise, his personal artistic evolution, his writing style, the bands ethics, the importance of all ages shows, the creation of the bands new record Panorama, the inspiration behind their extended Australian tour and of course, his tips for being a Radult. It's an inspiring, albeit at times, spiderweb affected, chat with one of the most instantly recognizable voices in modern music.

Episode 20 of Radults finds Brenton and Mike in the company of writer, producer and part owner of Robot Army Productions, Ryan Chamley.

Ryan is best known for the online sensation “Rostered On”, which after notching up over 250 millions views online, was acquired by Netflix in 2018, making "Rostered On" the first independent long form web series in Australian history to achieve that honour.
Following the success of the first season of "Rostered On"  7 Mate  commissioned a second series, earning "Rostered On" a piece of Australian television history as the first ever scripted comedy commissioned by the network.
Ryan’s second title “Jeremy the Dud” won fans worldwide for its insight into disability. The trailer instantly went viral racking up millions of views, also gaining the interest of TV networks and production companies all over the world it won best film at the “Flicks for Change film Festival in LA, and the Melbourne Independent Film Festival. Jeremy the Dud is currently being developed into a TV series!
Ryan is quite clearly an absolute Radult (and with four kids at home, a Dadult too) and his episode is one of the most insightful, inspiring and hilarious yet, making it the perfect way to finish off season 2.

Episode topics include how to get 250 million views, viral marketing, meme marketing, starting your own production company, dealing with criticism, the challenges of writing and producing TV, his goals and aspirations for the future, Jeremy The Dud, his tips for being a Radult and of course, some rather entertaining Rad Breaks!
